HAPPY 2013!
The Stages on Pages writers and their friends have been busy these past months with LOTS OF BOOKS AND STUFF...
Gretchen McNeill came out with the awesome scary mystery
TEN (Balzer & Bray) and has several more books in the pipeline.
Jessica Martinez celebrated the release of
THE SPACE BETWEEEN US (Simon and Schuster)
Sheela Chari's
VANISHED was featured on NBC Television as Al Roker's Kid's Book Club pick!
TARNISH (Viking/Penguin), the sequel to her debut novel, GILT, will pub this spring.
Uber-busy Allen Zadoff's
SINCE YOU LEFT ME was published and his exciting new adventure
BOY NOBODY (Little, Brown) will release this summer.
Stasia Ward Kehoe's next verse novel, THE SOUND OF LETTING GO, will be published by Viking/Penguin in Winter 2014. And Stasia & Gretchen both contributed to Zest Books' cool anthology DEAR TEEN ME: AUTHORS WRITE LETTERS TO THEIR TEEN SELVES which came out this past fall.
And that's just a sampling of the excitement. We writer-theater-geeks DO NOT mess around--even when we're handling more on the page and less on the stage. But have no fear, plans are being made to get back on the road with new and AWESOME tour members, stopping in strange and WONDERFUL places and making perfect strangers RECITE SHAKESPEARE and SING OPERA and DANCE AROUND LIBRARY TABLES. So only come out and see us IF YOU DARE!
When, where, will there be candy? Stay tuned... Just didn't want you to think we'd forgotten you. Whoever you are. Stumbling out there in the blogosphere which is neither stage nor page but it's totally cool, too. As long as you keep reading books. Even books by other people. We're THAT pro-reading.
